MRA Architecture Studio is a SACAP-registered practice founded in 2021 in Durban by Matthew Argall. The studio was born from a passion to transform people's lives by designing exceptional spaces to live and work in.
Our work spans residential homes, commercial workplaces, hospitality, and public spaces across the city. Design with the user in mind is the driving principle of the firm — and we stay with each commission from the first sketch through to handover.
We are authorised to execute projects from inception to close-out across SACAP Stages 1–6. Not all stages are always necessary — our experience will assist in honestly outlining the services your project requires.
Early feasibility analysis at any stage of planning. We identify risks and opportunities, advise on site suitability and budget, and define and refine the project brief.
Strong conceptual ideas developed from your brief, goals and requirements — through hand-drawn sketches, 3D modelling, rendering and animation.
Council submissions, complete construction documentation, and full project management. We stay with the project from first sketch through to handover.
